Interuniversity Services Inc. (ISI) is a not-for-profit company incorporated in 1984 by four independent Halifax universities. ISI currently provides selected central administrative services to nineteen member institutions in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland, thus reducing their overall operating costs, improving services, and providing a framework for cooperation among the universities, while maintaining their independence.
In addition, ISI shares office resources with, and provides administrative support to Novanet Inc.

MISSION To identify and promote opportunities for members to acquire goods and services with enhanced value and reduced costs.
CORE VALUES
CORE BUSINESS ACTIVITY The core business activity of ISI is supply and services management, including contracting, consulting, technical services, risk management and training facilitation.
STRUCTURE ISI consists of three divisions: Contract Services, Risk Management Services and Technical Services. Each division's manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The Senior Administrative Officers of the eighteen member universities form the Board of Directors. An Executive Committee oversees the operations of the Company through the Chief Executive Officer.
